HEY Sports Awards ceremony set to be a sell-out event
More than 500 of the region's professional and amateur sporting heroes and fans are expected to converge on Hull City Hall in two weeks for an awards ceremony that will recognise their achievements.
The glittering event, which is being held at the Queen Victoria Square-based venue, in Hull city centre, on November 26, will be attended by both professional sporting stars from Hull's four major sports teams - Hull Kingston Rovers, Hull FC, Hull City AFC and Hull Stingrays - and representatives from amateur clubs across the East Yorkshire region.
Organised by First Hull Trains and KCFM 98.9, the Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Sporting Heroes and Champions awards is already proving to be a huge hit, with table tickets selling out weeks before the event.
Now, organisers are making people aware that only balcony tickets are left with a special offer price of four tickets for the price of three.
David Townend, sales and marketing manager for First Hull Trains, is looking forward to the award ceremony. He said: "The awards ceremony at the end of this month will be a chance for people from across Hull and the East Riding, who have dedicated their lives to sport, to receive the recognition that they deserve.
"For some this will be an award, for others this will be having the opportunity to meet and be photographed with their idols. Either way, the evening will undoubtedly be a roaring success."
To book balcony tickets, which cost £10 each, visit Hull City Hall's box office or call (01482) 226655.
